The NEBOSH – L’Oréal International Bursary Programme 2026 is a fully funded opportunity designed to support women worldwide who want to start or advance a career in occupational health and safety.

The programme offers 20 fully funded places to study for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, a globally recognized qualification that equips participants with skills to manage workplace health and safety effectively.

  • Delivered online (Live virtual classes) — participants can join from any country.

 

Funding

The bursary is fully funded and covers:

  • Tuition fees for the NEBOSH International General Certificate

  • Assessment/exam fees

  • Tutor support and learning resources

Note: The award does not provide cash; it funds the training and certification only.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be female

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be based outside the United Kingdom

  • Have interest in starting or advancing a career in health & safety

  • Submit a short video explaining their motivation and career goals

  • Be able to attend online classes and complete required coursework

Duration of Program / Opportunity

  • Programme runs approximately June – August 2026

  • Includes:

    • 65 hours of taught sessions

    • 40 hours of self-study

    • Tutor support + assessments

Applicants must:

  1. Complete the online application form

  2. Submit a short video (about 2 minutes) explaining:

    • Why they want a career in health & safety

    • How the bursary will support their professional development

  3. Wait for judging and selection by a professional panel

  4. Successful candidates are notified and enrolled in the programme
